Remote Work Authenticator Tutorial
Step 1. Log into remote work program. After logging in, you will arrive at the screen shown below.
Step 2. Download and install
an authenticator app. There are a few options for this, but I recommend using
Microsoft's Authenticator app or Google Authenticator app.
Step 3. Once you've chosen one
of your preferences. You will either need to press the + sign on google
authenticator or choose “add account” on Microsoft authenticator.
Step 4. From there, on
Microsoft Authenticator you will choose “other account” and either scan the QR
code shown on the remote work app or click “enter code manually”. For Google Authenticator
you will choose “Scan a QR Code” or choose Enter a setup key leaving it set to
“time based” as the type of key option.
Step 5. Scan the QR code
or enter setup key. If you enter the key manually be sure to leave the type of
key as time based and give it an account name, you will recognize/remember.
Then click “add” for google authenticator or “finish” for Microsoft
Authenticator and you will be done.
